Aviatrix Jacket
The Aviatrix Jacket is a cropped, boxy jacket cut from heavyweight cotton drill, a fabric with enough weight to hold its shape and only get better with wear, creasing and softening into something that's genuinely yours over time. Dropped shoulders and full sleeves sit structured through the shoulder line and ease into a looser fall through the body. The shape reads sharp from a distance, but moves easily once you're in it. A draped shawl collar wraps loosely across the front, changing the character of the jacket depending on whether it's worn open or closed. Brass donut tack buttons close the placket down the front, with a fourth at the banded hem holding the shape at the waist. Epaulettes at the shoulder and pointed flap pockets at the hip carry the flight-jacket reference through the construction, and a line of contrast topstitching runs the length of the front seams, tracing the cut of the jacket in a single continuous thread.
Eleanor is a size 8, wearing a S/M.
